And So It Begins….

I have lost my mind. Okay, I am exaggerating a bit but I am officially going to start the Beach Body 21 Day Challenge next week! I can’t believe that I am going to try this. I never do anything other than Weight Watchers to lose weight.  But I really need help and fast.  I was going to do Weight Watchers again but a good friend talked me into joining her on this journey! Well she didn’t have to convince me too much since I desperately need to lose at least 35 lbs before the summer and this looked like an awesome way to start.  So over the next 21 days I will be trying out Shakeology, doing daily exercise programs and filling these gorgeous color coded containers with healthy foods!  Say a pray that I make it through. It must be good because I heard that the program is already sold out / on back order!

And I can’t believe that I am going to do this but I am going to show you a before picture.  Not today so don’t get too excited to make fun of my fatty pants over here! I just haven’t had a moment to ask the hubby to snap off some horrible pre pics of me yet.  But when I do, you will see what 3 c-sections in less than 6 years can do to a body.  Not to mention that I carried 2 babies that were well over 9lbs and one that was over 10lbs.  So my body was stretched to the max.  I took this the morning that I had Owen 2 1/2 months ago {and my body still hasn’t recovered}.

It’s not pretty but it’s what I am up against. I am determined to get back into shape.  I may never wear a bikini again and I may not be a size 4 but if I can be healthy and fit back into my smaller clothes than I will be happy!  This was my 3rd and final pregnancy and I tried my best not to gain a ton of weight but I knew it was the last time I would ever have an excuse to have one more oreo or one more slice of pizza.  Those excuses need to end now!  But don’t worry I LOVE food so I am never going to be that person that always eats healthy. I love my pizza and tacos way too much!

PS. Oh and in case you were wondering, I am not being paid or compensated to try this diet.  I didn’t get free samples or a trial deal.  This is all on me! I just thought I would keep a journal of my journey to share with you all.  I did this the last time that I was trying to lose weight and I wanted to do it again.  It’s just another form of accountability. If I have to report into you guys and show pictures then maybe I will try just a little bit harder and I won’t reach for that bag of chips.  I’m just thankful that I am starting after this weeks snow storm.
