Vacation Part II: Rehoboth Beach & Hershey Park

So I am back for round two of my vacation diary!  You can catch up on Week 1 here!

The kids spent a few days at my inlaws while Owen and I headed back to New Jersey to catch up on housework and laundry!  I also had to get everything packed for the second week of our vacation.  This year we didn’t go to Avalon for our normal week.  We ended up staying local while the kids enjoyed weeks at basketball, CCD, camps and swimming lessons.  We had a very busy summer.  But towards the end of July, Joey and I were really missing our week away at the shore.  It was a little late to book a house in Avalon so we decided to head on down to Rehoboth.  We both grew up right in Delaware {Joey was only 15 minutes away from the beach town} but we never really vacationed in Rehoboth.  Yes, we spent tons of time there growing up but neither one of us actually stayed down there for a vacation.  It was so nice staying at a hotel right on the boardwalk!  We just parked our car for a few days and walked everywhere!  It was great! The beach and boardwalk were right outside our window.  Plus all of the restaurants, rides and games were a few blocks south on the boards, it was awesome!

Joey and I were in NJ and packed up and left Saturday morning to head down to the beach {for all your Jersey folks, we call it the beach in Delaware … I know it’s the shore in NJ}.  We took our time traveling down.  It is only a 3 hour drive but we decided that since we only had Owen that we would stop for lunch and hit up a few beer stores that we can never get into when we have the whole gang!  I think this trip took us 6-7 hours but it was fine.  Owen was a trooper!  We stopped for lunch at Two Stones Pub in Wilmington, DE.  We love this place! The food is awesome and the beer is superb!  We have never been disappointed!

We finally arrived at Joey’s parents around dinnertime!  We picked up some pizza and had dinner while we were reunited with our other two boys!  They almost forgot about us!  They have a blast down there in the open yard.  They swing, play basketball and we cook s’mores on the firepit!  It’s always a nice and relaxing time! Plus they live 2 minutes from Dogfish Head Brewery so we always stop in to see what’s new.   We spent the night there and the next morning headed into our hotel in Rehoboth.

We stayed at the Henlopen Hotel.  It’s nothing fancy but it has a great view and the rooms are decent.  It definitely needs some upgrades but it was perfect for us!  We couldn’t check in right away so we decided to go to Dogfish Head for lunch!  The kids always enjoy the food and mommy and daddy always enjoy the beers!

After lunch we headed to the beach for a few hours while we waited on our room.  I think that the kids were still a little nervous about the rough waves after last weeks knockdown.  But they still had a blast.  It was another rough day but they managed to get wet and sandy!  Owen on the other hand hid from the sun!  The kid sat like this for a good 10 minutes!  He cracks me up!

At this point we were all anxious to get into our room.  Luckily it was ready.  So we unpacked the car and headed on up!  I fell in love with our view.   I mean look at this!  I love falling asleep to the sounds of waves crashing and since it was a cool night we slept with the door open so we could hear all the wonderful sounds of the Atlantic!

After we checked in and unpacked a bit we headed on down to the boardwalk! Walking the boardwalk with my kids brought back sooooo many memories of my childhood.

I remember walking up and down the boards holding my dads hand as we walked past the “hotel that had the pool out front”.  It was my favorite place to look at. I loved how my boys had to stop and check out the pool as we walked down.  I loved taking my guys into Ryan’s Gems and Junk {I think that they just call it Ryan’s now}.  They sold some of the same “junk” from when I was a kid. I made Sean pose in front of the sea shell jewelry boxes! I guess that they never go out of style {were they ever in style}.

We stopped off at Obie’s by the Sea for dinner that night {after a hit up Candy Kitchen and the arcade}. I mean how can you not love this view at dinner!???

IMG_9604   IMG_9601

The boys were a little crazy but we somehow managed to get through dinner {after I had to remove one of them from the restaurant}.  The next morning was a little windy so we decided to go for a nice walk around Rehoboth and hit up the park for a little bit and then Grotto Pizza for lunch!  We can’t go down to Rehoboth without getting some slices from Grotto’s.

IMG_9620 IMG_9618

Then it was off to Funland. The rides were opening so we had to get there as soon as we could.  My inlaws came into town to spend the afternoon with us.   We had one major meltdown because of a game that we will never mention again.  Okay it was that damn claw game! Come on, it’s rigged… The 6 year old boy never win it!  But despite the breakdown we did get on a few rides! Owen went on the boats for the very first time! It’s a tradition that all kids must ride those boats {there are quite a few generations in our families that have spent many of summers ridding those boats}.

IMG_9625 IMG_9626 IMG_9646

After the rides, we decided to go down to the beach for a few hours before dinner.  It was such a gorgeous night!

IMG_9700   IMG_9696

Since we loved Obie’s the night before we decided to go back again! It was the perfect spot to bring the kids and the stroller.  This night was a little smoother and the kids were pretty well behaved!

Tuesday morning we met up with some good friends on the beach in the morning.  We spent a few hours down there playing and relaxing in the sand.  After they left it was off to lunch at Nicola Pizza and then back to the beach! That night was our last night in town so we had to go big!  We spent a ton of time back at the rides and the boys went into the Haunted Mansion for the very first time! Again this ride has been there FOREVER so we knew it was time for them to get on it. I love how they pretended to be so scared waiting in line but their faces as they came out of it were priceless! They were scared to death!  It was awesome!

After the rides we hit up the ice cream shop and ran into a skunk in the dunes before heading back home to get some rest.

IMG_9729 IMG_9730

The next morning was checkout time! Since we were so close to Joey’s parents we decided to drive there and drop off Owen.  We had a few more things that we wanted to do with the boys and it was just easier if we didn’t have the stroller {sorry Owen}!  We just had to squeeze in one more day of rides and miniature golf!!

IMG_9735   IMG_9736

After we finished up the day in Rehoboth it was time to head back to my inlaws!  That leg of our trip was coming to an end!

We spent a few days relaxing at my inlaws before we packed up the car and headed to Hershey Park!  That was an interesting trip.  The boys were soooo naughty that night in the hotel that we almost didn’t go to the park the next morning.  But we sucked it up and took them!  They weren’t on their best behavior but I think that they still had a blast!

IMG_9777   IMG_9773

IMG_9790   IMG_9792

Overall, we had an awesome time.  Yes there were a lot of moments where the boys were fighting and we were all yelling, but I know that we will look back and only remember all of the fun times and memories that were made that week.  Ok I’ll still remember Ben’s breakdown when he didn’t win the Despicable Me minion at that claw game!  But I will mainly remember the skee-ball games, the rides, and of course the massive amounts of pizza and ice cream that we consumed! I can’t wait to see what next summer brings for us!

Vacation Part I: Bethany Beach

So the last two weeks of summer we spent it traveling around Delaware for a mini vacation! We had no camps, no doctor appointments and no schedules. Just some good old fashion summertime fun.  We started off the two weeks by celebrating Sean’s 5th birthday at the bowling alley. He had a small group of friends and his family there to celebrate.  His actual birthday was still a few days away but it was the best time for everyone to come together and celebrate.

The next day we headed on down to Bethany Beach Delaware to crash my sister’s vacation!  Her family had a townhouse with a ton of space so I brought the three boys down for some beach and pool time with family. Unfortunately, Joey still had to work so he missed out.  The first day we all did our ice bucket challenges on the deck before chowing down on Grotto’s pizza.

My boys were in absolute heaven.  All of their cousins were down at the house as well.  They had their baseball gloves and soccer balls and 3 other boys to play with! They were awesome with my guys.  And Ben only fell down in the swamp by the lake once!  Poor kid was all cut up but he didn’t complain {much}.  It was quite funny.

IMG_9413  IMG_9424

Tuesday was a gorgeous, hot, beach day.  The kids were so excited to get in the water.  I was a nervous wreck.  The ocean was angry that day and the rip currents were very strong.  The boys both wiped out under the same wave and I thought they were going to get swept away.  Thankfully I was able to grab Ben while my brother-in-law grabbed Sean.  It was the scariest 10 seconds of my life.  Ben was pretty nervous the rest of the day.  Sean, yeah not so much.   After a few hours my anxiety couldn’t take it and Owen was a little fussy so we headed back to the house.

    IMG_9426   IMG_9432

On Wednesday, we decided to skip the ocean.  My sister and brother-in-law took most of their kids to Bethany Beach for the day but my mom, my niece Molly and I took the boys to the community pool.  That was much better for my anxiety!  The boys were so happy that they could swim without swimmies.  The lessons were a hit this summer.  They were doing cannonballs all afternoon long and they actually let me throw them across the pool.  It was a blast. I had such a great time that day.  That night we had a nice family dinner and celebrated Sean’s birthday again!  This time with a Ninja Turtle Cake from his aunt Tara and uncle Matt.

   IMG_9470  IMG_9460IMG_9478

Now it was Thursday morning and this part of our vacation was coming to an end!  We had an awesome few days with the Rahe/Thuer crew!  Thanks again Tara & Matt for inviting the Callaways down to invade your vacation! We all had a wonderful time!

IMG_9457  IMG_9489

Now onto the next part! It was time to head up to my in-laws house.  They were going to watch the boys for a few days until Joey and I came back down to start our week of vacation.  Today was also Sean’s actual birthday! He had birthday cake for breakfast, Chick-Fil-A for lunch and his grandparents attention for 3 days!  He was thrilled.

Owen and I headed back home to New Jersey to clean the house, do some laundry and pack for round 2 of vacation!

Stay tuned for Part 2 of Summer Vacation!

Happy Birthday Sean!

Again because of vacation, school, teething and just the fact that I haven’t sat down at my computer, I am a little behind on all of my posts! I’m playing catch up this week.  I will be back on track in a week or two I PROMISE YOU!

So a few weeks ago we had a big birthday in our house.  My middle guy turned 5.   He is now one whole hand.  Five full fingers! The kid couldn’t have been more excited.  He was very lucky and had a few birthday celebrations!

This is what 5 looks like.

The first was a great party with his friends and family at our local bowling alley.  Watching a bunch of 5 year old kids bowl is quite hilarious.  Some are pretty awesome, some are pretty dangerous but they are all adorable.

IMG_9339 IMG_9349

The boys spent and hour and a half bowling.  They dropped balls, threw balls over the gutters and bowled in other people’s lanes.  But it was a blast.  They devoured pizza and cake and then hit up the arcade to play games.

After the party the family headed back home to open up some more presents.  My mom as well as my in-laws were there to celebrate Sean’s big day.

IMG_9361 IMG_9380

I can’t believe that Sean is five.  Time has flown by with this kid {even though the days seem to be so long and drawn out with him}.  I remember when he was born he was already scaring me.  He was in NICU for a few hours for breathing issues, then he had jaundice and was under the lights in the hospital and then again at home for a week.  Every day since his birth he has surprised me with his antics.

He is my little daredevil, my crazy maniac.  The kid makes me lose my breath at least once a day and he definitely keeps me on my toes.  But he has such this sweet, kind and loving side to him.  He is very sensitive but he is now starting to fight back.  And my goodness the kids is smart and athletic.  Everytime I introduce a new sport to him, he just “gets it”.  He even taught himself how to ride a bike after 3 days.

Now he is in Kindergarten.  Full day with a bus ride and all.  My little guy isn’t so little anymore!

We Love you Sean!

Owen Thomas – 8 Months Old

Only 4 more months of formula! WAHOO {I am typing this as tears stream down my face}. My baby boy is growing up way too quickly. I cannot believe that he is 8 months. 4 more and he is going to be 1. I just can’t even think about that right now or I will be curled up in a ball on the floor crying hysterically. There’s just something about knowing that this is going to be the last of everything. No more babies so I am trying to savor and enjoy every moment with this guy.

IMG_8974    IMG_8982

Seriously, I still think of little Owen like this:

IMG_3938    IMG_3960

oh and this:

But now that he is 8 months old, he looks a lot more like this

IMG_8799    IMG_8659

So what has this little man been up to the past few weeks? Well let’s see. He now has two bottom teeth and a few more are trying to come through. He has a few grumpy days when his teeth hurt but other than that he has no issues. The drooling has slowed down a bit thank goodness because he was a soggy mess all day long.

He said his first word a few weeks ago! Thankfully I recorded it!  Of course it was dada.  You know the guy who isn’t getting up with the kid twice a night?! Dads always get the first word! But that’s okay Owen calls me dada all day long so the word really doesn’t connect yet!

He has been doing awesome with his rolling and sitting up. He doesn’t really fall over anymore when he’s sitting — except if he reaches too far for a toy. He hasn’t started crawling yet but I know that it’s coming soon. The past two days he has been getting up on all fours and rocking. Oh he definitely has the backwards scoot down now. I will set him on the floor with his toys to play while I clean or cook and I will look over and the kid is half way across the room. It’s almost time for baby gates and baby proofing! AHHHH I am so not ready for that. I feel like I finally just got all of that stuff put away from Sean and it’s already coming back out. So just a warning if you are coming to my house. I apologize if you have to go through 2 gates, a door knob lock and a toliet lock just to get to the bathroom!

Owen also had his first beach day last weekend.  We drove to Avalon for the day and he enjoyed every minute of it.  It was his first time in the sand and ocean.  It was the first time he ate sand too!  He loved the beach and smiled the entire time!

 IMG_4232    IMG_4244

  IMG_4250     IMG_4251 IMG_4262     IMG_8837IMG_8820

He also had his first taste of ice cream at Springers in Stone Harbor and sat in a high chair for the first time!

IMG_8854    IMG_8859

Then it was off to the park in Avalon for some swing time.  He loved it of course! Seriously this kid is ALWAYS SMILING!!!

So we have had some wonderful times with this kid! He truly is a blessing to our family. I didn’t think that I was going to have a third kid and now I cannot imagine my life without him.  He just warms my heart up each and every day.

Let’s Play Catch Up {While the Boys Play Catch}

Alrighty, I know that it’s been a few weeks since I had a personal post.  As you can imagine life with 3 boys is a little bit hectic.  They keep me very busy each and every day.  Now that the weather is warming up we have been trying to do some fun family things.  We have spent a lot of time outside playing in the yard, riding bikes and had a trip to the Crayola Factory a few weekends ago.   We have also been trying to do some minor house repairs. I am trying to update Ben & Sean’s bedroom.  A long, long time ago — actually 6 years ago tomorrow — we moved into this place with just Ben.  So their room was the guest bedroom and I had painted it a light green to match my fancy Restoration Hardware bedding.  Fast forward 6 years {and two more kids later} and we no longer have that guest bedroom and that bedding is in a tote somewhere in our basement.  So I wanted to update the room a bit to make it their own.  I painted it a nice tan and I can’t wait to buy some wall name decals from Etsy for above their beds.   I also plan on finally hanging the curtains {the ones that Sean ripped down two years ago} and add a few shelves.  One of these days I will finish it and post some pictures.  But I did get the painting done one morning so that’s a start!

Last week my dryer broke — it just stopped heating.  So I waited around today for the GE repair man to show up and tell me what’s wrong with the thing.  Of course it wasn’t the dryer.  He said that I am getting no airflow so my ducts are probably in need of a good cleaning!  Now having your dryer break when you have 3 kids is not fun.  I have been hanging up my clothes all over the place.  It’s not fun washing boys socks and hanging them over the shower rod.  Then your shower rod falls down at night and scares the living daylights out of you.  Oh and during this time, Sean had an accident over night and Ben had a bloody nose.  So I had two comforters and a set of sheets to wash.  Thankfully we spent some time in Delaware this past weekend so our laundry made the trip with us.  Thanks to our moms for helping us wash our clothes! It’s just like when we brought them home over Christmas break in college!  I really wished that it could have been fixed today because I need to do some more laundry ASAP!

So I can’t believe that Owen is almost six months old and that summer is just around the corner.  The past six months have been crazy and hectic but it really has flown by.  My little guy is getting so big and I want to stop the clock and slow it down.  Owen is rolling over, trying to sit up and already eating a ton of food!  Here are some recent pictures of him.

I mean come on, how freaking cute is this kid.  Just six months ago he was this “tiny” little 10lb chunky monkey!!

Ben has been doing pretty well at school. He loves going (even though he is home sick today with a “sore throat”). He loves reading books and doing his homework. The kid has handwriting like his father…. Messy. But he is such a hard worker.  We are also working on some of his behavior issues and hopefully we can get them under control soon!  Ben has an exciting summer coming up.  He will be going to 2 weeks of CCD camp right after school ends and then he has a few other weeks of Rec Camp.  I can’t wait for him to get out there this summer and enjoy himself.  He is always so anxious when he is trying new things {hmmm not sure where he gets that one from} so I really hope that he has a fun time at his camps.

IMG_7242   IMG_7351

Ben is starting to enjoy sports a little bit more.  He has started to play basketball a little bit more and wants to play for our rec league.  He also spent the weekend in Milton playing baseball with his daddy!  Both kids had some great hits.  I’m still trying to explain the game to them but tonight they did go outside together and to have a catch!  It was quite amusing watching them play.  I think between the two of them they caught the ball 3 times but they didn’t care.  They had a blast.  Ben even told me tonight that it’s not about catching the ball, it’s about having fun.  A quote that he just picked up from watching the movie The Sandlot this week.

Sean is also enjoying school. He loves his friends and he definitely can’t wait for September. He cannot wait for kindergarten and the bus ride! I can’t wait either.  Sean also has a few weeks of camp this summer as well.  He has Kindergarten camp.  Ben went for one week last year and loved it so I decided to sign Sean up for 3 weeks.

IMG_7252    IMG_7360

Between the camps, visits to Milton and my mom’s pool I plan on keeping the kids super busy this summer.  Less time for trouble and lots of time for fun.  I hope that they both learn to ride their bikes without their training wheels too.  Sean rides his bike a lot more than Ben so I have a feeling that he will be the first to get it.  But fingers crossed for both of them.

This past weekend we took a trip down to my in-laws for some rest and relaxation!  It was nice to just hang out all weekend.  We didn’t make it into Rehoboth because Sean got sick but we did have a lot of fun cooking Smore’s on the firepit and swinging in the trees!

10372336_10203579609348803_6208749356709299556_n   10294344_10203594569722803_4714287922989843676_n10374878_10203594568962784_560720645504502977_n

So that’s the latest with our crew.  I am busy every day running to the bus stop, school, karate, grocery stores, painting bedrooms and scheduling dryer repair men!  In a few weeks school will end and the schedules will be all over the place.  I hope that it’s not too crazy and we all have a fun and exciting summer!  We hope to make it up to Hershey Park, take the boys camping for the first time and get to the Jersey Shore as much as possible!

What are you summer plans for the kids? Pool? Camps?

Have a good weekend!!!!!

Rides, Games and Tears

Here we are back at Monday again.  The day that I dread.  I am exhausted from the weekend and a late night plus Ben starts a week of Kindergarten camp today.  He did okay at drop off.  He just told me once that he didn’t want to stay at camp long and that he was really going to miss me.  But I think that he is going to have a blast {and he’s going to be exhausted}.  But I am glad that I signed him up for full day camp since his school day goes well past 3pm.  He will need to get used to the long days.

Sean on the other hand has been such a handful lately.  He is back to destroying everything in my house.  Last week he ripped the curtains off our wall in our dining room.  I could kill the kid!  Then today he flushed one of those paper bathroom cups down his toliet.  I haven’t gone up there yet to work on that one.  I am hoping that the plunger does the trick or he is paying for the plumber out of his college fund.

There’s so much to do around the house right now.  I need walls repaired, paint work, plumbing work, a hose down and some other miscellaneous projects!  The exterminator comes tomorrow to help us with the ant problem!  I hope that they can get rid of those little buggers because I am sick of seeing them.

It’s been such an exhausting day and it’s only 1pm.  AHHHHHH

Oops it’s now after 4pm and I am finally getting this post finished.  I had to run out and get Ben from camp!  He said that he had a lot of fun and is looking forward to going back again tomorrow! SUCCESS!!!!!  He was a sweaty mess.

This past weekend we headed down to Delaware to visit with all of the grandparents!  The first stop on Friday night was my mom’s house.  We ended up getting there pretty late so the kids went to bed after a little bit of play time.  The next morning they were up bright and early so we threw them in the pool for a little bit.   Then it was time to head downstate to visit with Joey’s parents.  We spent the day at the house and then Sunday we went into Rehoboth for some games, rides, ice cream and of course Dogfish!

The boys were actually pretty well behaved at lunch! It was amazing.

photo 2 photo 1 (7)

After lunch it was off to the rides and games! The boys love these rides. I was starting to get a little sad when I saw that Ben has almost outgrown some of them. Then I remembered that I have a new baby coming and another couple of years left in Funland. I mean you can’t beat it. The tickets are so cheap, the rides are too cute and I remember riding the same ones when I was a kid.

Here are some pictures from Ben’s tantrum because he didn’t win the Despicable Me minion in the claw game behind him. It was a pretty impressive meltdown. Screaming, kicking, scratching and tons of tears. He finally stopped when I threw him on the tea cups and he couldn’t stop laughing.

Sean’s awesome Skee-Ball score! Not bad for a 3 year old!  He beat some of the adults playing next to us.

It was a pretty awesome day!  We topped it off with ice cream before we had to head back to Milton and pack up and say our goodbyes! We then stopped off at my mom’s house for some dinner and then drove back to New Jersey to face the week!

Alright guys, I’m off to go deal with Sean.  I can’t type for long or he will break something else in my house.  I don’t know what I am going to do when I have three boys destroying things????

I hope you all have a great week! I will be back tomorrow with a mini baby update. Wordless Wednesday

It’s time for a photo dump from my iPhone.  I couldn’t just pick one picture for today’s Wordless Wednesday post so I thought I would post some pictures of our weekend in Hershey Park!  We had a great day visiting with my college friend Janelle and her family.  It was so nice getting together and my kids actually behaved!  All the kids got along and played nicely. It was a great time.

IMG_0869   IMG_0870

Saturday night Joey headed off to the Dave Matthews Concert and I stuck around the hotel with the boys.  It was bedtime and after a day of playing I figured that they would pass out! Nope, I was wrong.  Ben passed out around 9pm and Sean followed around 10pm.  It wasn’t too bad though because they had some new McDonald’s toys to annoy me play with.

The next day we headed to Hershey Park in the horrible heat.  It was an extremely hot and humid day but we still had a blast.  It started off a little slow because Ben doesn’t like to walk.  So I had to run back and rent a stroller for him.  Then he was too hot to get on a few rides.  Finally after some water and a slushy he bounced back and had a great time.   The kids enjoyed a ton of rides, the sea lion show skee-ball and of course french fries!

Everything went pretty smoothly that day.  Then we stopped back into Chocolate World for a delicious snack and it happened.  The meltdown of all meltdowns. The one where everyone looks at you like you are trying to kidnap your own child.  The one where other parents are giving you dirty looks and judging because your kid is screaming his head off and there’s nothing that you can do.  Yeah it was that kind of meltdown.   Joey had to hold one of his hands and I held the other and we basically carried him out of the massive store and back to the car.   The entire time he was screaming his head off and was trying everything in his power to annoy us.  It was a long day and everyone was hot and tired so I know it wasn’t all of his fault.

Here are some pictures of the fun times at the park!

Chocolate World Tour – Yes I will take that whole thing of Reese’s please!

Now it’s time for the park!

IMG_0886 IMG_0887 IMG_0889

The boys found the giant Hershey bar.  For the first time ever, Ben wasn’t shy or afraid of a character! Yeah!!!  Maybe he will sit on Santa’s lap this year.

IMG_0892 IMG_0894 IMG_0933

Sean loved having this ride all to himself.  I think he went on it 3 or 4 times.  I lost track.

Our view from the kissing tower.

Sean was really into the sea lion show!

IMG_0921 IMG_0925

Sean’s last day of camp is tomorrow and then we are off for a pool play date with friends!  It’s going to be another hot one out there. I know I am having trouble breathing when I am outside so make sure that you all take care of yourself if you are spending any time out in this heat wave!!!!!  Is it too early to put up my Fall decorations? I can dream right? My favorite season has to be coming up soon, because this heat is pure torture!

Well that’s all for now! I’ll be back tomorrow for Throwback Thursday!

It’s Graduation Day!

Get ready for a massive amount of photos!  Sorry but I am a proud {and teary eyed} mama!

I was pretty impressed that we got 5 adults and 2 kids out of the house before 8:30am so that we could get to the church in time to scoop up the prime seats.   We even had plenty of time to go out front and snap our end of year pictures!  Ben wasn’t being to cooperative at first but he finally got into it.

Here are a few of Sean on his very last day of 3 year old preschool.  Next year he is moving up to the 4 year old class {which is five days a week – WOO HOO}

Finally, Ben decided to put a big smile on for a few pictures.

Brotherly love!

There’s my little man walking across the stage!

Carrying his diploma and bible.  When he walked past me he whispered “we get to keep this book”.

Ben and his ladies!  Emily is his classmate who he bought the shiny gold necklace for {you can read all about that here}.   Maddie {on the right} is one of his lifelong friends from the neighborhood!   Oh and in case you didn’t notice it, she loves the camera {and the camera loves her}.

Ben with some of the boys from his class.  I just love the hands in the pocket!

Now back to the house for some subs, cupcakes and end of school year presents!

I can’t believe that my baby is going to kindergarten in September! I was pretty proud of myself today. I held it together during the ceremony until the very end.  The last song they sang before diplomas was “Kindergarten Here We Come”.  I shed a few tears but I really lost it when one of the teachers got up to talk and she started crying.  I think every mom lost it at that point.  I am so glad that we chose to send our kids to Little Tree.  All of the teachers really do care about the kids, even if they are not in their class.  Ben went through a lot this year with his seizures and I felt that they cared so much about him and his safety.  I am so glad that Sean has another year there {and if we are still living in this town the baby will go there as well}.

School’s Out for SUMMER!!!!

Stay tuned for my baby update!  I am officially 16 weeks now!

Wordless Wednesday

AHHHHH relaxation! There’s nothing better than a little R&R down at the shore {yes, I am officially New Jersey now, I said the shore and not the beach}!!!

Talk to you guys soon!

Vacation….Jersey Shore Style

So we leave tomorrow for a week at the shore! I can’t wait!  New Jersey has been through so much since Hurricane Sandy but like the Governor and President said “We are Stronger Than the Storm”.

But don’t worry, I will be posting next week. I have some posts that are scheduled and ready to go.  Plus I will be writing one or two posts to share with you all while I am down the shore.  I will definitely have my Wordless Wednesday, ThrowBack Thursday and Finish the Sentence Friday posts.   I may also have a post that will reveal the sex of the baby{no I don’t know yet but soon}.   I also have a great sponsor to share with you.  So don’t go anywhere!!!!

Oh and if you want to see some pictures of us down the shore, make sure that you follow me on Facebook and Instagram. I am sure that I will be posting obsessively on those two sites!  Check them out now!!!

Have a great week everyone!
